Battery holder

An adjustable battery holder that is weather proof and will not corrode.

The battery holder will support batteries up to 7 pounds (3 kg).

To remove or fit a battery into the holder it is as simple as pulling the front panel forwards and removing the battery.

Battery holders can be mounted in most positions and fixing hardware is supplied with every battery supporter.

Water will not accumulate under the battery when exposed to weather. The support is designed to drain water from the base.

Wires can also be placed through the opening to maintain a neat and safe battery station. Available for $29. 95

Twelve volt batteries

Twelve volt batteries are available as sealed batteries and lead acid batteries.

Sealed batteries have the electrolyte sealed and will not spill the contents of the battery if accidentally tipped over.

Sealed batteries are often used as a back up power source for computers and other appliances that are located in enclosed or heavy traffic areas.

Refillable lead acid batteries have an acid for the electrolyte.
The battery may release fumes when in operation or being charged.
Released battery fumes can be harmful, flammable and corrosive.

Lead acid batteries are used for automobiles, solar system and similar installations

12 volt batteries

12 volt batteries provide a Direct Current (abbreviated as DC) power supply.

Batteries are rated in Volts and Amp Hours (AH). Amp hours are the amount of power the battery will supply over a period of time.
The higher the amp hour is, the longer a power source can be supplied from the battery.

Time limits will vary according to the amount of power that the appliance requires to operate.

Displayed are some heaters and fans contained on this web site and the operating time of each appliance when connected to a 12 Volt 10 AH battery.

Multiple 12 volt heaters can be connected to one battery. The amount of power consumed during one hour is the total amps from all the heaters connected to the battery.

miniature thermostat

Temperatures as high as 110 degrees Celsius can be safely measured by the miniature thermostat when the ambient temperature is around 60 degrees. Miniature thermostats
function for 50000 cycles and have a dielectric strength of 1500VAC for one minute.

Miniature thermostats will maintain a preset temperature with a tolerance of approximately
three degrees at 12VDC for long periods of time.

Reliability and the ability to withstand harsh treatment makes the miniature thermostat suitable for controlling
a range of temperatures in damp or confined areas.

The weather proof thermostat measures:

5/8" (15 mm) high

A stainless steel sensor plate allows the small thermostat to be placed directly onto the surface of the heat source. Thermostats can be glued into place or permanently fastened.
